Will Google penalise me for using automated responses?
Google encourages businesses to respond to reviews and does not currently prohibit AI-assisted replies. We can’t guarantee how Google enforces its policies in future, which is why approve-first is the default — you read every reply before it posts, and you can edit any of them. Responses are written per review, not from templates.
